High School Graduate Program

At Norwood International High School, overseas students studying the High School Graduate Program complete either the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) which prepares them for University and further education studies either in Adelaide, interstate or overseas. Students can choose from an extensive range of subjects that cater for individual interests, specialised learning and future focussed careers. More information about our subjects can be found using our Online Curriculum Guide.

Norwood International High School offers enrolments into the Graduate Program at Years 10 & 11. Students may need to complete a semester in the Intensive Secondary English Course (ISEC), which is available at our school, prior to entering the High School Graduate Program.

ISEC

The ISEC Program at Norwood International High School is offered to students transitioning to years 9, 10 or 11 who need to develop their English language proficiency before they enter the High School Graduate Program.

The ISEC program at Norwood International High School has a focus on developing the student’s English to better prepare them for transition into mainstream classes. It is also designed to provide knowledge of the Australian environment and society and to familiarise international students with schooling in Australia.

Study Abroad

Overseas students may join our High School Study Abroad program for periods from three months to one year and can study subjects that may not be offered in their own school. Students learn about Australian culture, improve their English and integrate with local students.

For information about subjects offered at Norwood International High School, please go to the school’s Curriculum Guide and research courses that you may be interested in studying.
