Year 10 Campania Club Excursion

wordpress postQKNHpV

A full-day celebration of ‘la cucina regionale’ and Italian games. The Year 10 Campania Club excursion had students cooking, competing and connecting.🍝

Students plunged straight into la cucina regionale (regional cuisine), discovering the flavours of Campania by making homemade cavatelli from scratch. From shaping the dough to tasting the results, they explored how local ingredients and traditions create the unique identity of a region.

And because no Campania experience is complete without dessert, the fun didn’t stop there, everyone rolled up their sleeves to make classic tiramisu, adding that perfect sweet finish to a truly authentic food journey.

After the kitchen buzz, it was time for friendly (but competitive!) Bocce matches; strategy, teamwork, and bragging rights all on the line.

Then we switched gears for something seriously fun: the Italian card game Briscola, fast, tactical, and full of laughs.

To wrap it up, we played Tombola (Italian bingo), with our volunteers, bringing even more community spirit to the day. Buon appetito!🍰🥄
