At the end of Term 1, the Stage 2 Outdoor Education class participated in a four day camp to Mt Arapiles, a world renowned rock climbing destination in Victoria.

Students had the opportunity to extend their skills, from the rock climbing days at the local crag at Morialta, to the multi-pitch environment at the huge cliffs of the Organ Pipes at Mt Arapiles.

The group worked on mastering belaying techniques and managing the mental challenge of climbing a longer distance above the ground. It was incredible to see students actively encouraging one another to push past their comfort zones and confidently explore the cliff environment.

The trip was a highlight for the Stage 2 class, leaving everyone with an appreciation for the unique environment and a proud sense of personal achievement.
