A spectacular event!

On Saturday 18 August the Norwood International Rowing Club put on it’s annual Quiz Night event to fundraise for the rowing program. This year was a smashing success with 25 tables competing in for the winning title and prizes. There were many games along the way and the winner was uncertain until the final round … as it came close to crunch time the scores got closer.

Third place was taken out by Grecian Fusion with 95 points, The Bad Prospects came in second on 99 points and Ooh-Wah-Ah-Ah!! took the winning title with 100 points!

Congratulations to everyone who particpated, took home a prize and the lucky raffle winners. A massive thank you to our sponsors for their generous donations and support.

Thank you to our amazing Quiz Master Mr. Nick Hyland who kept the questions interesting and challenged the teams. Our auctioneer Mr. Ben O’Connell delivered a high energy live auction that was worthy of an award itself. Janine and the amazing Rowing Parent Committee who put on an unforgettable night. Thank you to everyone who came and participated in a spectacular quiz night. The Rowing Quiz night fundraised $12,000.00 for the Rowing Club! This will go towards purchasing new equipment for the rowers to enjoy and race proudly in the upcoming season.

All photography credits go to the wonderful photographers Victoria and Janaka who captured the event.
