Blue Donut Day

On Friday 25 September, the last day of Term 3, we celebrated Blue Donut Day. It was a fantastic day filled with plenty of blue, delicious donuts and, most importantly, a show of support for SA Police Legacy.

Blue Donut Day was all about adding a splash of blue, with students and staff encouraged to dress in the colour to show their support for SA Police Legacy. Everyone got involved, and it was wonderful to see a sea of blue across the school!

At recess and lunch, students could purchase delicious blue donuts for $3.50. They were incredibly popular, and we were thrilled to sell out almost completely!

Funds were raised through both gold coin donations for casual clothes and donut sales, with every dollar going directly to SA Police Legacy. The organisation supports South Australian police families in their time of greatest need, such as following the loss of a loved one or during serious illness, by providing financial, emotional and social support. They also offer personal development opportunities for serving officers.

It was a fantastic day, and we were delighted by the generosity and enthusiasm shown by our school community. Thank you to everyone who wore blue, donated, bought a donut and helped make Blue Donut Day such a success!
