DP Students take to the Central Market

Year 11 IB Economics students took their theories to the test in the real world—aka the bustling Central Market. Armed with curiosity (and possibly some very leading questions), they chatted with local vendors to uncover the mysteries of price setting, competition, and whether the invisible hand really does its job. Spoiler: it depends on who you ask.

Along the way, they might have accidentally supported the economy with a few “research-related” food purchases—purely in the name of economic analysis, of course.
