2024 Inclusive Careers and Pathways Expo

Group Photo

On Thursday 13 June, nine students and three staff members had the pleasure of attending the Department for Education’s first-ever Inclusive Careers and Pathways Expo at the Adelaide Showgrounds.

As we entered the pavilion, we were immediately struck by its vibrant atmosphere, alive with conversation, laughter, and excitement. Each booth showcased a variety of potential career paths and services, with representatives eager to answer questions and share insights. Students were actively engaged, inquiring about different industries, qualifications, and career planning to gain a clearer understanding of pathway opportunities.

For staff, the event was equally informative, offering valuable networking opportunities and resources that will benefit students, families, and the wider school community. We left with bags filled with brochures, contact details, and the assurance that support services and professionals are eager to assist our students. Meanwhile, the students had a delightful time collecting various goodies from different booths as mementos of their day of learning.
